Books
Books are like portals,
You can be alien or mortal.
They’re an exercise for your brain,
You can be crazy or sane.
You can be killed with no pain,
A paper cut is the only injury you’ll gain.
A book is a place you explore,
Some you will put down, others you’ll read more.
Some are boring,
Some are great
Some you won’t put down until it’s very late.
Some have thick pages,some are fine.
Books are not a waste of time.
Some people don’t like books, and that’s just great.
But to some people, books are bait!
