Words in Motion 2013 - Feature Poem of the Day

Spring Morning Walk

Blackbirds flit across the soft morning sky.
Dew drops tickle your toes.
The morning air is fresh and crisp.
The scent of flowers is sweet in your nose.
Birds sing, crickets chirp, and bull frogs croak as they come and go.
The forest is waking, the animals are new,
and the trees awaken and dance in the wind, calling your name as they do.
Hello spring, after harsh winters sleep, Fort McMurray welcomes you.
