A little more than six years ago our community joined the Canadian Coalition of Municipalities Against Racism and Discrimination. It is with excitement that we commemorate this occasion with a Diversity Summit, where we join together to look at and celebrate our past successes and future endeavors in building a welcoming and inclusive community.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is hosting a Diversity Summit this spring to engage stakeholders in advancing the objectives of the Diversity Plan 2012-2015. The plan sets out key goals and actions that will be implemented over the next three years to continue to make Wood Buffalo a welcoming and inclusive place to live, play, work and grow.
