Fire In The Sky

Look at the strange flicker
In the deep dark sky!
Now blazing brightly, I wonder
What? How?  Why?!
Illuminating the still quiet of my mind,
With colors of the fluorescent kind.
Swiftly swaying to and fro,
In seconds and moments the designs grow.
Like fairies dancing in harmony
- a melodious open air ceremony.
Mysterious and mesmerizing and magical too,
Everywhere I look, I see something new!

Dimming soon,the vibrant dance
Leaves me behind in an everlasting trance ...
