2012 Artist in Residency: Fort McMurray & Fort Chipewyan

Hello,

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has an exciting opportunity that we would like to share with you. For the 2012 Artist in Residency program we have expanded the scope to include a secondary studio location in Fort Chipewyan.

The program includes a dedicated studio space (with no associated fee) in Fort McMurray for three months, commencing on June 4, 2012 and, for one month in Fort Chipewyan commencing on July 30, 2012. Artists in the program will take part in an artist talk (15-20 minutes), open-house demonstrations, and have the opportunity to display their artwork in a group exhibition held in Fort McMurray.

We invite visual artists who are Canadian residents to submit a proposal before Friday May 4, 2012 at 4:30PM (Mountain Time).

Please review and share the below information with anyone you think would be interested. Thank you very much for your time.
