Volunteers Needed for the AIDS Walk for Life

Want to help out with the AIDS WALK???

Join us for the 1st Annual AIDS Walk For Life on
Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Borealis Park!

Registration is 10:00am, the walk is at noon, and the BBQ is to follow.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the AIDS Walk for Life, meet new people, and have fun!

Volunteers are needed on the day of the event as well as in the weeks leading up to the walk. There are opportunities for anyone willing to help! Here are just some of the positions available:

Registration: This includes welcoming walkers to the AIDS Walk, gathering walker information, and tallying pledge forms and donations on the day of the Walk.

Fundraising: Want to help out with our fundraising campaign? Volunteer to help out with fundraising activities in the weeks leading up to the AIDS Walk.

Set-up and Teardown: This includes assisting in setting up and tearing down the site on the day of the Walk.

Route Monitors: This includes assisting walkers in navigating their way around the walk routes and making sure everyone stays together during the Walk.

Clean Team: Love the environment? Why not help out in maintaining the cleanliness of beautiful Lakeside Park. Clean Team volunteers will be given garbage bags and supplies to help keep our park clean.

BBQ: Want to help out with the barbeque? Sign up to help us cook hamburgers and hotdogs for hungry walkers!

Lots of other volunteer opportunities are available!
