Federation of Canadian Artists – Call for Submissions

Drawing Exhibition is an open, international, juried exhibition of original drawings, in any drawing media, open to all living artists worldwide. A special category has been included for students enrolled in post-secondary institutions in the arts as well as emerging artists. This category will be juried separately and will qualify for prizes offered, adjudicated by the award jury.

Student/Emerging Artist category – if you are enrolled in a post-secondary art institution, or you are in your first 5 years of serious artistic endeavour, then you are eligible to enter this category.
Artist category – all living artists that do not qualify for the student/emerging artist category. Entries must not be copies, derivatives, or based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic works. They must be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without the supervision of an instructor. Work must not have been previously exhibited in any other FCA exhibition. All work must be for sale and priced in Canadian funds with intent to sell. Inadmissible works: Photographs, giclées, posters and any other type of mechanical reproduction. Emerging Artists/Students $10 per image
FCA members $15.00 per image
FCA non-members $20.00 per image
Up to three images may be entered. Only one will be selected. Non-refundable
entry fees in Canadian dollars only.

Submission of entry in this competition automatically constitutes the entrant's acceptance of all competition rules. The juror's decision will be final.
