Civilians were bombarded by propaganda telling them to be afraid and protect themselves from the Red Menace that could happen any moment. How did people become so afraid and how did the messages of fear change over time? 

Come back in time to when children cowered under their desks, when families built bomb shelters in their years and the missiles could fly at any time.
