Let's Get Sketchy! Nov. 30, 2013 at Keyano Theatre

A number of arts organizations are working together to put on a multi-disciplinary and interactive themed event at Keyano Theatre. “Let’s Get Sketchy!” will take place in Keyano Art Gallery and in the Theatre lobby on the evening of November 30th as patrons arrive for the Saturday performance of Catalyst Theatre’s new musical Vigilante. In the spirit of the production, set in the late 1800’s, actors in period garb will be posing in a number of different locations. Artists and community members will sketch the tableaus while poets and creative writers capture the scene in words. All of this will happen while local musicians create a live soundtrack to the #YMMARTS Happening.

“Let’s Get Sketchy!” is a collaborative project of Boreal Artist Institute, Brazen Elephant Productions, Full Moon Cafe, Keyano Theatre Company, Arts Council Wood Buffalo, Portrait Artists McMurray and NorthWord.
