Banff Centre Indigenous Dance Residency- Apply by May 10, 2014
Banff Centre Indigenous Dance Residency
Program runs from July 28 to August 23, 2014
Application Deadline is May 10, 2014
Acclaimed Indigenous choreographers and dance instructors come together with dancers from across Canada and around the world to share, investigate, and strengthen contemporary Indigenous dance practice. This four week intensive residency includes daily technique classes, improvisation classes, choreographic exploration, and the creation of a short new choreographic work that will be performed as part of the Banff Summer Arts Festival. Dancers accepted to the program will receive 100 per cent scholarship to cover the program fee including tuition, shared room, and meal plan at The Banff Centre.

Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti, Translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans
Produced with special arrangement by Samuel French LTD.
This 1960’s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancĂ©es, each beautiful airline hostesses with frequent “layovers”. He keeps “one up, one down and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris and Bernard’s apartment at the same time.

Call for Performers - 2013 Breaking New Ground AAAS Convention & Tradeshow
The Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies would like to invite you to participate in the 2013 Breaking New Ground AAAS Convention & Tradeshow February 1 - 3, 2013.
Participation in the convention provides artists and/or entertainers exposure and booking opportunities to over 600 convention delegates representing over 140 Agricultural Societies and the many events they hold throughout Alberta. Delegates attending the convention are board members, volunteers and community leaders who are key influencer's and decision makers.
Selected Acts will be provided with space to display your communication materials and will receive additional exposure in the delegate package.
Please submit your Showcase Application as soon as possible; all Applications must be received by December 15, 2012. To ensure fair consideration, it is important that all of the materials requested are included with your application.
Please Note: There are 2 stages - each with their own application form. Main stage acts will be selected prior to the Tradeshow stage acts being juried. The Main stage is located in the main plenary area with full backline & sound production - performances are in the evenings. Tradeshow stage acts perform in the tradeshow area with no backline or sound production.
