Volunteer Opportunities Available- Applications due Nov. 18, 2013

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking residents interested in helping shape the future of our Municipality by serving on a Board or Committee. 

 Volunteers are required to serve on the following Boards: 

• Assessment Review Board  
• Combative Sports Commission  
• Communities in Bloom Committee  
• Community Identification Committee  
• Community Services Committee  
• Fort McMurray Airport Authority  
• Landlord and Tenant Advisory Board  
• Library Board  
• Regional Advisory Committee on Inclusion, Diversity and Equality  
• Regional Recreation Corporation (rural north only)  
• Subdivision and Development Appeal Board  
• Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation  

Travel assistance is available for members who are required to travel to Fort McMurray from outlying communities. 

Application forms can also be picked up at the Customer Service Counter located on the Main Floor of the Municipal Offices (9909 Franklin Avenue), or at the Municipal Offices located in Anzac, Janvier, Conklin and Fort Chipewyan.
