Join Councillor Mike Allen, 2012 Rozsa Award Jury Member and owner of Campbell's Music in supporting arts managers across Alberta and nominate a Wood Buffalo Arts Manager!
EXPOSE EXCELLENCE
Only one week remains to nominate an outstanding arts administrator for the 2012 Rozsa Award for Excellence in Arts Management. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the prestigious provincial award now provides over $135,000 in cash and benefits. Nomination forms are available at www.rozsafoundation.org and must be submitted by February 23.
Organizations are encouraged to further “expose excellence” by sending a revealing photo of their own management team pictured with a piece of art and be entered to win $500 to give to a 2012 Rozsa Award nominee of their choice. Photos will be posted on Facebook and the one with the most “likes” will win. Photo deadline is June 1.
The Rozsa Award is all about best business practices that enable artistic risk-taking. Join with Rozsa Award partners Deloitte, The Hay Group, the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, the Business School at the University of Alberta, CKUA, Structured Abstraction and the Banff Centre, to bring our arts managers from back stage to centre stage by completing a nomination form today. Together, we will expose excellence!
BACKGROUND
The Rozsa Award for Excellence in Arts Management was created in 2002 in honour of the Drs. Ted and Lola Rozsa, in order to recognize, celebrate and promote excellence in arts management. Since that time, the Rozsa Award has expanded in geographic reach, value and award categories. Please see the Rozsa Foundation website for additional information including past recipients and impact of the award.
