EAC: Public Art Professional Development Series

Are you an artist who is considering pursuing work in public art? Or are you a public artist looking for more insight into applying for public art commissions? The Edmonton Arts Council has developed a workshop series for established public artists and those interested in pursuing public art to learn more about process. Fall 2011’s workshops will look at Fabrication, Project Management and Budgeting.

The Public Art Professional Development series takes place on the last Wednesday evening of the month throughout the Fall. The workshops will include a case study by each speaker, some best practices, tips and tricks, followed by an opportunity for Q&A.

Here are the three sessions:
