Temporary Foreign Worker program at YMCA Immigrant Settlement Services. On June 25, at 5 p.m. there will be a Focus Group and Pot Luck (please bring food from your country of origin). Temporary Foreign Workers will be asked to share their views about: the 4 year limit to work in Canada; work place concerns that affect performance; your most unforgettable experience as a TFW; lessons learned; how to connect more TFW to the YMCA services and any other concerns they may have.

ReplyDeleteThe idea for focus groups came from answering the question, Participation in a group is optional and is intended for members only. Members can sign up in an appropriate group or suggest a group or theme. Once a small group is established, it will be self-directed. To express an interest in joining a group or in getting a group started, please contact a Steering Committee member. Thanks a lot...
