Alberta Employment and Immigration, Integration Resources Canada and the YMCA of Wood Buffalo – Would like to welcome all potential Mentors and Mentees to a program designed to offer leadership and effective strategies for integrating the expertise of Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) into the Canadian workforce
There are a limited number of seats available so register today. Preference will be given to Hiring Managers, Human Resource Professionals and those currently working with Internationally Educated Professionals, however all interested are welcome to apply.
Volunteer Mentors will learn and develop
o Mentoring, career and cross-cultural competencies
o Leadership and community building skills
o Strategies for community inclusion
o Methods for assessing IEP competencies
o Strategic research methodologies
o Insight into Canada’s changing workforce
This unique program is both strategic and inclusive. We have been told over and over again that the sessions are fun, inspiring, informative and often the highlight of a participant’s week! You can expect Mentor partnerships to last up to four months.

Dates: March 15, 17, 22, 24 2011
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
