The Future of Oil - Book Talk

Join us on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 6:30pm on the second floor of the Fort McMurray Public Library for a book talk with local author Sanjay Patel, hosted by Russell Thomas.

Sanjay will be discussing his new book, The Future of Oil, which addresses the important issues and controversies of Canadian oil sands.

Following the presentation there will be a question and answer period and book signing. Light refreshments will be served.

Canadian Children's Book Week from May 5 to 12

Good afternoon all,

I hope you will take the opportunity to reconnect with your favourite books from childhood during Canadian Children's Book Week from May 5 to 12. Fort McMurray Public Library is happy to participate in this special week by focusing on Canadian authors and illustrators at children's storytime programs, and of course, with welcoming children's author Rina Singh on May 9.
