The Fort McMurray Social Dance Club hosts monthly events for adults to practice and learn ballroom, Latin and other dancing styles. The club plays a variety of modern and classic music to tend to everyone’s preference. Learn to Cha Cha, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Rhumba, Tango and so much more in a social setting. Whether you’re preparing for your wedding or a special event, or just wanting to perfect your smooth dance moves, this club is for dancers of all levels. No partner or experience is required for any of the events; just a willingness to dance!
The next monthly event will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Stonebridge Hotel – Athabasca Room from 8 pm to midnight. An introductory lesson on Cha Cha will take place from 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm, followed by an open dance floor where a variety of music will be played.
