新 春 鄉 愁 Homesick at the Lunar New Year
每逢佳節倍思親 During the festival, without family to share
獨個在此無人問 Being alone here, no one to care
轉眼又到了春節 The Spring Festival has arrived again
只盼嚴冬別再臨 Bringing hope the cold winter will never come again
加北天寒遍地雪 Northern Canada isfrigid and full ofsnow
無親無友更淒涼 Missing family and friends makes it more sad and cold
遍地黑金又如何 Even though it’s full of “black gold”
怎及家鄉喜洋洋 How can it be compared to the warmth and happiness of home
