Have a Heart Radiothon - share your stories!

On February 20, the Northern Lights Health Foundation and our radio station partners will take to the airways for the Have a Heart Radiothon presented by Fisher Powerline Construction Ltd. Patients and their families who received exceptional care at the health centre will share their remarkable stories with listeners to help us raise awareness and funds for critical state of the art medical equipment.

You can make a difference in local health care by helping us share your story. Stories can be shared live on-air on February 20 or in a pre-recorded interview (limited pre-recorded spots available).

Here are a few questions to help you prepare your thoughts:

1. What did your caregiver do to help make your experience better?

2. Why are you grateful for their care?

3. What difference did it make that you were able to get the care you needed right here at home?

*Very important to stress local care.

4. The NLHF raises funds for health care in our community. Because of their work our community has more access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and programs. Why is this important for our community’s health?
