ALTANETS' is a series of week-long summer dance workshops which provide dance instruction from qualified professionals who have studied Ukrainian Dance at educational institutions around the world! Our instructors provide a proven dance curriculum drawn from their vast education and experience in dance. AUDA provides students of all levels, the opportunity to educate themselves with various regions and styles under quality instruction. Students will complete our workshops inspired to dance with improved technique and a better understanding of the art form of Ukrainian dance.
Workshops take place in a camp setting which facilitate meeting other dancers from across the province and beyond, who share the same enjoyment of Ukrainian dance. Culturally based activities are planned to familiarize the participants with the vibrant Ukrainian culture. These activities include crafts, songs, and re-enactment of Ukrainian-spirited and fun-filled traditions.
