Carli Gaudet, a student in Keyano's Visual Art and Design program is doing a project on local people and their experiences while living here living in Fort Mcmurray. She'd like to interview local artists, and then choose one of them to do a 3-5 minute long documentary piece.

Visual Expression is an art exhibition located in the Fort McMurray Public Library. This show will run from June 25 to July 25. The four artists exhibiting at the Library include Ron Patel, Lisa Carlson, Treasure Cooper and Margaret Sonnenberg.
The show celebrates a variety of approaches to visual art, such as paintings, collages and the expressions of youth through to the more experienced. Please come and enjoy this new art exhibit in Fort McMurray's wonderful library.
For this year’s InterPLAY, the organizers would like to have a large community arts component in order to showcase the talented artist of our Region.
A Cultural Coordinator from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will facilitate this initiatives to begin with but with the intention to hand this back to the community; it will be up to members of the arts and cultural community to manage and organize this initiative.
