Words in Motion 2013 - Feature Poem of the Day

Longing (French version)

Regarde, Mon grand desir
Est de nager dans l’opulence,
Comme si cette maree
Est mon Coeur
Et tu est mon marin.
Retourne a ma cabane
Laisse les brissants faire route,
Retourne,
Parce que je veux prendre la mer
Et flotteur avec toi
De tout cote
A jamais.

Longing (English version)

Look, my longing
Is flowing with riches,
As if this flood is my heart
And you are my boatman.
Come to my cabin
Let the waves steer the course.
Come,
Because I want to set sail
And float with you
Far and Wide
Forever.
