Suncor Business Centre Youth Art Gallery Opening

At 4:30 today (Tuesday, May 7) we will be opening a youth art gallery at the Suncor Business Centre.

The gallery is currently showcasing some incredible artwork by our very own Holy Trinity students. In fact, the entire exhibit is HT work, many of which are new pieces that were not displayed as part of the Peter Czuy Gallery Opening.

If you would like to join us for an hour of great art, free food, and a speech or two, we would love to have you!

The Suncor Business Centre is just north of the Timberlea interchange on highway 63 (by Cat and Burnco). Please park around back.

We are very excited about this partnership between Industry, Art & Youth and know you will be amazed by the great pieces on display.

Oil Sands Karaoke Volunteers

Events Wood Buffalo is looking for volunteers to assist us on the night of an Alberta Movie Documentary Premiere! The Oil Sands Karaoke Movie Documentary Premiere will start off with a VIP Reception held at Keyano Theatre in the Lobby on May 9th. They are in need of 15-20 volunteers over a 4 hour period starting at 7PM (we are asking for 2 hour shifts) for a few different positions. In return they are offering 2 tickets to one of the public showings of your choice to each volunteer willing to spend their time helping them at the reception!

If you are interested in signing up for the Oil Sands Karaoke Premiere please visit http://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040D4BA9AB2FAA8-oilsands and select which volunteer task you would like to be responsible for and the times you are available. There is also information on this website as well as attached to this email about the public showings we are offering tickets to.

Please keep in mind this is a dry run of this volunteer website for EWB. Because of this I am going to ask a few things of those of you willing to volunteer and respond:
  1. When using this website, if you run into any issues please inform me of them
  2. Please send me an email after you have signed up so I can be reassured we have made contact
  3. After you have signed up let me know what you think about this form of signing up vs. our regular email correspondence.
If you would like anymore information before signing up please contact Cait Evans at 780-791-1600 or cevans@eventswoodbuffalo.com.
